Happy holidays! Travel is in full swing and families are arriving at their holiday destinations. With guests coming, it’s time to start cooking and mixing festive drinks. My holiday cocktail series has wrapped up, but I still have several cozy vegan beverages to share this season.

From morning pick-me-ups to a soothing nightcap, I enjoy creating warm holiday drinks. While I usually stick to my regular coffee or tea, I love an excuse to make something a bit fancier. One favorite is an oat milk matcha latte—gentle caffeine without the coffee jitters and perfect for staying energized throughout a busy holiday day.

Below are some festive vegan drinks featured in my holiday series. The apple nutmeg mocktail is alcohol-free and great for guests of all ages.

  • Pomegranate Margarita
  • Pomegranate Aperol Spritz
  • Winter Sunrise
  • Apple Nutmeg Mocktail

Baby J and I mixed up the apple nutmeg mocktail together recently, and it’s become a repeat favorite. It’s flavorful, family-friendly, and feels special without alcohol. Pomegranate lends a bright, festive note, so I used it to give both the margarita and the Aperol spritz a holiday twist on familiar favorites.

If you need a drink that can be made in large batches for gatherings, mulled wine is a classic warm option. It combines winter spices like star anise, cloves, and cinnamon and simmers long enough to let the flavors meld into a cozy, fragrant pitcher to share.

The mulled wine simmers for about 30 minutes so the spices can steep fully, producing a comforting, well-rounded flavor that’s perfect for holiday gatherings and chilly evenings.
