I often get asked whether a woman can have a healthy vegan pregnancy. While I haven’t been pregnant myself, many of my friends have, and they’ve all had healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. Most experienced natural births and prioritized health and fitness before, during, and after pregnancy. If I decide to have a child someday, I know I’ll have a strong circle of friends to turn to for advice.
One friend, Kendra, is a great example. She lives nearby and recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. When I received a question for Q&A with Jenné about vegan pregnancy, Kendra was the first person I invited to talk with me because of her experience and practical approach to plant-based pregnancy.
In the video, Kendra shares straightforward, practical tips for maintaining a healthy pregnancy on a plant-based diet. Her suggestions focus on balanced nutrition, sensible fitness, and sustainable habits that support both mother and baby.
If you have tips or questions about vegan pregnancy, please share them in the comments. Real experiences and practical suggestions help others feel informed and supported.
Since we’re talking about pregnancy, I’m getting an early start on celebrating Mother’s Day. I’ll post a vegan Mother’s Day gift guide later this week. I’m nearly finished with it—if you know of any gifts I should include, tell me in the comments.
